The Somerset County Historical Quarterly (8 volumes 1912-1919) has long been one of the mainstays of central New Jersey genealogical research. Note: All volumes contain installments of the Somerset County marriage records 1795-1879, a series which concludes in volume 8.

Volume 4: Includes Readington Church Baptisms from
1720; continues baptism records of Raritan (Somerville) and Neshanic from

of Lamington inscriptions published in v. 3; notes on the Dutch migration
from the Raritan Valley to New York State in 1785 and later. There is a
